The report states that United is among the clubs that are interested in the 26-year-old striker whose goalscoring exploits brought Brentford back to the Premier League. He then scored 14 goals and provided a further six assists in his debut season.
West Ham United are also interested in Toney, with David Moyes keen on relieving the burden on the main striker Michail Antonio. Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch is also looking for another striker to play alongside Patrick Bamford.
Brentford are aware of the interest Toney is generating and wouldn't want to lose him without a substantial offer coming through. If he leaves, he will become the second player to leave the Bees for the Red Devils, following the footsteps of Christian Eriksen.
