Gabriel Jesus' agent has lifted the lid on the Brazilian striker's failed summer move to Stamford Bridge.
Jesus emerged as a summer target for Chelsea after it emerged that he would quit the English champions at the end of last season.
However, it was Arsenal who eventually secured the signature of the former Man City striker, with the Blues missing out on a transfer deal.

At the time, the publication claims that Tottenham, Chelsea, and Real Madrid had registered interest in the Brazil international.
Jesus' agent, Marcelo Pettinati, has now revealed that Chelsea made a last-ditch attempt to steal the striker in the final days that preceded his move to the Emirates.
"Chelsea were one of the teams that tried to hijack the Arsenal move," Pettinati told journalist Freddie Paxton.
"They tried very hard in the final days to get him. By that point, we'd already chosen our new project," he added.
After sealing an eagerly-anticipated move to Arsenal, Jesus revealed that Gunners boss Mikel Arteta played a central role in his decision to choose the north Londoners.
