  • Manchester City sold Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal for £45 million, while Raheem Sterling was sold to Chelsea weeks later
  • The Citizens’ attack will now have a completely different look, with Erling Haaland set to lead the line
  • One United fan did not appreciate City’s transfer business, and called them out, saying they would not win the title

An irate Manchester United fan has come out to slam Manchester City for their transfer business this summer.

The fan, identified as Temi, called in on popular football radio station TalkSport where he accused Pep Guardiola and Manchester City of blatant arrogance.

In an entertaining rant, Temi did not hold back in his criticism of Manchester City as he faulted the move to sell Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling to rival clubs.

Chelsea reportedly coughed up £50 million to secure Sterling’s services.

For Gabriel Jesus, he was sold to Arsenal and has already featured for the North London side in a friendly where he scored a brace.

“I guarantee Manchester City will not win the league. They have been arrogant to sell Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to rival clubs.” Temi said.
“When you think about Sterling in Pep Guardiola’s tenure, Messi has scored the most goals for him (at Barcelona), followed by Sergio Aguero and then it’s Raheem Sterling.”
“When you look at an amazing team, don’t just look at the starting 11, look at the bench, Man City they had Sterling and Jesus on their bench.”

His argument mainly revolved around the fact that both Jesus and Sterling have been crucial for Pep Guardiola during key moments in the season.

John Terry gushes over Sterling’s move to Chelsea

Meanwhile, one person delighted with Sterling’s transfer to Chelsea is John Terry.

The former Chelsea defender took to Twitter to gush over Sterling, saying:

“Welcome to @ChelseaFC @sterling7. What a signing this is… Good Luck Mate."

Sterling enjoyed an iconic rivalry with John Terry in the early 2010s, when he was coming of age at Liverpool.
