Ismael Gonzalez has left Spanish club Real Murcia. The Harambee Stars midfielder joined the second division side last year for a short-term contract which has since elapsed.
He featured in at least 20 games for the side, racking up 1,273 minutes in total. Gonzalez last played for the national team in 2019 at the Africa Cup of Nations under Sebastien Migne.
Also released is attacking midfielder Eric Johanna who has left Belgian club, Waasland-Beveren. Johanna only featured four times for the side after joining them in January from Swedish second-tier side Jönköpings as Mozzart Sports reports.

He will now be on the hunt for a new club having played in Sween and Belgium since leaving Kenya Premier League outfit Mathare United in 2017.
Eric Ouma picks up a point as Frank Odhiambo's side win
In the Swedish top-flight league, Eric Ouma's AIK played out to a two-all draw with Elfsborg in round 13 of League action.
Ouma lasted the whole 90 minutes as goals to see his side climb to third place with 25 points, three less than Hacken, the log leaders.
In second place is Frank Odhiambo's Djurgarden, who were 2-0 victors over Helsinborgs on Monday night. Odhiambo was an unused substitute during the game.

Sports Brief has also reported that Kenyan football fans, especially Gor Mahia fans, have taken to social media to express their feelings after the club put pen to paper on a new sponsorship deal.
The record Kenya Premier League champions were without a sponsor following the withdrawal of Betsafe, which cited tough economic times.
The club announced on Tuesday morning that it had entered into a new agreement with Betafriq for the next three years. The deal will see the club get 76.5 million every year for the next three years.
