Former Super Eagles captain Jay-Jay Okocha has disclosed that he later met with incredible goalkeeper Oliver Kahn years after his incredible goal against the German in 1993.
The skilful superstar who spent four years at Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt ripped the entire Karlsruher SC defence before putting the ball past Kahn.
Jay-Jay dribbled and nutmegged about five defenders before hitting it low into the corner and then went on with an iconic celebration as he pulled off his shirt.
In a chat with Sports Brief and other members of the press at the opening ceremony of a new 5-aside football pitch sited at Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) Estate, Meiran, Ojokoro, Lagos, Okocha disclosed that he later met with Kahn.

The Nation reports that the new pitch is part of Bundesliga’s programme for global pitch refurbishment activation in support of football, with the novel event tagged “Common Ground” in partnership with StarTimes.
Okocha said while answering a question asked by Sports Brief’s reporter:
“Well, I’ve seen him after that. We are not enemies; we are all just doing our jobs and I’m delighted I scored that goal. It was a goal that introduced me to Europe and it’s still a special goal.”

Meanwhile, Okocha dazzled during a testimonial match back in 2016 to a point that Cameroonian legend Samuel Eto’o called on the opposing bench to replace the master dribbler.
Jay-Jay, who was given the moniker ‘so good they named him twice, had a remarkable career as he featured for Fenerbahce, Paris Saint-Germain and English club Bolton Wanderers.
He was part of Sam Allardyce’s team between 2002 and 2006 and the pair recently reunited to recreate a dancing celebration.

Sports Brief earlier reported that former Super Eagles skipper, Sunday Oliseh has cleared the air on the misconception surrounding Nigeria legend, Okocha, during their playing days in the national team.
Most people believed Okocha always laughed whenever he gave away the ball while trying to dribble opponents.
However, Oliseh clarified by saying that Okocha has a facial expression that looks like he is laughing, but he is actually not.
