Boadu has won five trophies since joining the club from Medeama SC last year, but following a tough campaign in the Ghana Premier League, the club is reportedly in talks with former Hoffenheim manager Steven Hubbs.

"I'm head coach of Hearts, I'm not an assistant coach. I really need a video analyst but personally, I don't need a Technical Director," he added.

Hearts of Oak will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup later this year following their FA Cup success. Last season, the Phobians endured a terrible campaign in Africa.

"Traveling in Africa and playing with no rest, no preseason made it difficult in GPL after our CAF campaign. We recorded injuries, fatigue. I'm not a flop. If not for the challenges we would've done better," Boadu said.
""I don't think we will concede 6 goals in Africa again. The boys are now exposed."

Hearts fans liken Samuel Boadu to Pep Guardiola

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Football fans on social media have compared Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

Boadu joined the Phobians last season and finished the 2020/2021 season, winning the Ghana Premier League for the first time in ten years and guiding them to win the FA Cup.

The gaffer also helped the Accra-based club to win the Super Cup, and although the team is currently struggling in the 2021/22 football season, they have added silverware after beating Asante Kotoko to win the 2022 President's Cup.
