Sports Brief now takes a look at some of the top clubs in the world that have finished the season unbeaten.

AC Milan

AC Milan ended the 1991/92 Serie A campaign without a single defeat under the tutelage of legendary manager Fabio Capello.

At the time, the Rossoneri took part in 34 matches in the league without tasting defeat.

Incredibly, Milan went on to ink their name in the history books of the Italian league after they recorded 58 unbeaten league matches between 1991 and 1993.

The Gunners are arguably the most known team in the world to go a full season without defeat.

Arsene Wenger led the side to Premier League triumph during the 2003/04 season undefeated.

Under Antonio Conte, Juventus won the 2011–12 Serie A undefeated.

The feat saw them become the first Italian team to do so in a 38–game league season.

Celtic are the most recent European club to complete a domestic league unbeaten.

The Hoops earned the accomplishment during the 2016–17 season as they were unbeaten in 47 league and cup games.

Their incredible run saw them win the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup for an unprecedented unbeaten domestic Treble.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the club at the time.

Yanga brings Dar-es-Salaam to standstill after winning Tanzania league

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Yanga FC fans filled the streets of Dar Es Salaam to celebrate their record 28th title after winning the Ligi Kuu Bara in Tanzania.

The last time Yanga won the league title was in the 2016/2017 season before their arch-rivals Simba SC took over and dominated the league for four successive years.

Yanga FC and Simba SC have a cut-throat following in the East African country.
