1. Eden Hazard to Newcastle
That Newcastle is now the richest club in the world is no longer a secret. They are pretty soon expected to start attracting some big names. But it was a little bit odd for them to be linked with Eden Hazard despite the Belgian's struggles at Real Madrid.
2. Gareth Bale to Getafe
The man himself went before the cameras to say that there was absolutely no chance he was going to Getafe. He has since ended up with Los Angeles FC in the USA.
3. Mason Mount to Manchester United
Mount has been tipped as a future captain of Chelsea having been bred and brought up within the Chelsea academy. It was reported that new United manager Erik ten Hag wanted to lure Mount to Old Trafford. Hard to see how Mount can leave Chelsea for a direct Premier League rival.
4. Cristiano Ronaldo to AS Roma
Revealed! The latest EPL transfer rumours and done deals this offseason
FootballOne of the best footballers the world has ever seen. Even at 37, Ronaldo still wants to remain competitive at the top level and it is difficult to see how Jose Mourinho's AS Roma can offer such given the high-quality teams in the Serie A.
5. Angel Di Maria to Barcelona
Well, crazy as it may sound, this might still happen. Di Maria is a former Real Madrid player but has in the past said that that chapter is done and he will willingly join Madrid's arch-rivals.
6. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Fulham
The Lazio attacking midfielder has been on the radar of top European clubs and given that Fulham will probably be embroiled in a relegation dogfight next season, Savic will think twice before signing for them.
7. Edinson Cavani to Salernitana
The Serie A club recently avoided relegation by a whisker while Cavani's future remains uncertain. The Uruguayan will undoubtedly feel he still has some firepower to compete in the Champions League.

Bale had initially considered retirement but made a U-turn when Wales qualified for the World Cup.
The perceived idea was for the 32-year-old to find a short-term club to keep fit as the Qatar event drew closer.
