Meanwhile, English Premier League side Chelsea are said to be the leading club to earn Neymar’s signature ahead of the coming season.
The Brazilian superstar has not been too impressive at French club Paris Saint-Germain as he was subjected to jeers and boos following their shocking exit from the Champions League last season.
Mauricio Pochettino is billed to leave his position as manager of the club and new sporting director Luis Campos will lead the French champions to do serious business in the transfer window.
Chelsea owner meets Ronaldo’s agent
Sports Brief earlier reported that new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has reportedly met with Cristiano Ronaldo's agent over a potential summer deal that would see the Man United striker make a sensational switch to Stamford Bridge.
Despite having a year left on his Old Trafford deal, Ronaldo is believed to be staring at an uncertain future with the Red Devils and could depart the club in the coming weeks.
The Blues are keen to add a prolific striker within their ranks in the coming days following the departure of Romelu Lukaku, who sealed a return to Inter Milan on loan after a horrendous spell with the west London club last season.
