Former Super Eagles star Christian Obodo has urged Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to remain at Serie A giants Napoli claiming that he has the chance of excelling at the club.
Following his brilliant performances last season for Napoli in all competitions, Victor Osimhen is currently a target for some European sides as he is linked with a move to the Premier League.
Despite suffering a facial injury last season while playing for Napoli, Victor Osimhen was still able to score 14 league goals and also created two assists.

FootballNapoli also finished last season in third position on the final League table, which means they will play in the Champions League next term.
According to the reports on GOAL and Soccernet, Christian Obodo urged Victor Osimhen to continue with his fine form for Napoli next season in the Serie A.
“I was aware of Osimhen’s potential even before he joined Napoli.
“I think this is the ideal place for a player like Victor, in addition to the adequacy of the coach.
“Spalletti’s work was relevant and allowed the Nigerian to grow a lot both at Napoli and with the national team. I had no doubts about the impact that the former Lille star have had in Napoli.”
