Matthaus, who won the 1990 World Cup and Ballon d'Or, believes Mané will be a perfect replacement for want-away Robert Lewandowski.
“I really hope that Sadio Mané will sign for Bayern. He's a big name in international football and he showed it, not only with Senegal, but also with Liverpool. He scores and scores goals. He has high speed and we lost Erling Haaland. Maybe we are going to lose Robert Lewandowski and we need the same figures for our logo, for our brand in the Bundesliga," he said as quoted by 13football.com
