- In a match against Kaizer Chiefs back in 2015, the fan was spotted by cameras removing his Amakhosi jersey for a Mbabane Swallows one after the latter won a penalty shootout
- The match was part of a four-team tournament held in Eswatini including Swati giants Royal Leopards and the other Soweto giants Orlando Pirates
Sometimes these supporters just aren't loyal to the cause whichever team they claim to support.
A football match between Mbabane Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs in the Eswatini capital city Mbabane proved this in the funniest way possible.
As reported by Soccer Laduma, the teams were part of four including Swati giants Royal Leopards and the Amakhosi's rivals Orlando Pirates participating in the King's Super Cup. According to Sport24, Chiefs and Pirates both have a big support base in the country.
Following a 0-0 draw, the semifinal between the teams went to penalties. The home side emerged 4-2 winners in the resulting penalty shootout for an upset victory.
What will be remembered about the moment was when a Chiefs "fan" in the stands took off his Amakhosi jersey, revealing that he had a Swallows one underneath the entire time. The video has gained nearly 200 000 viewers on YouTube.
Comedian Skhumba roasts Moroka Swallows, Baba Mthethwa and Steve Khompela and others as a commentator
Comedian Skhumbuzo "Skhumba" Hlophe might be the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons at the moment, but there is no doubt he remains the benchmark on humorous observations of everyday South African life.
As reported by Sports Brief, there are rumours that the end of the line has come for him at Kaya FM with his colleague Thomas Msengana on the radio station's morning breakfast show.
Regardless, his rise in the broadcast world was given a boost with his appearance as a guest commentator during SuperSport's coverage of the 2016 Gauteng Champion of Champions Cup tournament in Daveyton in the east of Gauteng.
