- Zidan, who scored against Cameroon in the group stage of CAN 2008, had a special celebration during the tournament in Ghana
Former Egypt striker, Mohamed Zidan, had to reproduce his famous 2008 AFCON goal celebrations during the game between Dortmund Legends and African Giants in Accra.
The Dortmund legend arrived with his former teammates in Accra for a tour of the country as well as an exhibition game.
In a video posted on Twitter, the AFCON winner recreated his most popular celebration, where he takes off his boots and joggles it in his hands.
Zidan had fond memories of Ghana and especially Accra, where he starred as Egypt won their sixth Africa Cup of Nations title.
He was the star of the North Africans at the tournament hosted by Ghana, and was a fan favourite because of his celebration and famous 'love football' haircut.
Zidan scored again in Accra as Borussia Dortmund Legends were held by African Giants in an exhibition match last Saturday.
"It's nice because I scored a goal. I am a little bit disappointed because I got injured with the muscles, you know we don't play that much these days because it's not easy. But, it was really a nice day for me to score," he said.
"I was very happy especially at this stadium because I played here in 2008, in the final against Cameroon. I won the Africa Cup of Nations right and I was celebrating, dancing in front of the fans, so it is a great feeling. It's 14 years and it's like only four years ago," recounts the Egyptian.
