Former Ghana and Ankaragücü forward Augustine Arhinful broke the deadlock after he was put through on goal by ex-Juventus and Ghana skipper Stephen Appiah.

Moments after it was Dortmund who pulled parity through the spot when former Egypt attacker Mohammed Zidan scored from the spot.

After recess, long-serving Dortmund player Kevin Großkreutz received a pass before curling an unstoppable rifle from the left-hand side of the box to put BVB ahead for the first time in the game.

But it was Prince Tagoe who had the last laugh when Kwadwo Asamoah's well weighted pass was flicked directly into the path of the former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars striker, who made no mistake by cushioning the ball at the back of the net.

It proved to be the last goal of the highly entertaining fixture between the constellation of former football superstars.

In a photo posted on social media, the legendary shot-stopper presented a jersey to the chief for hosting them.
