Meanwhile, following the persistent demonstrations by EndSARS protesters across the country, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has called the youths to put an end to the protests.
Tinubu, however, said the ongoing protests against the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS recently banned by police authorities were right.
He said the protesters have made their points and that the government has made its commitment to them, urging the youths to call-off the protest and give the government a chance to implement their demands.

Formula 1And Legit.ng earlier reported that a civil rights lawyer, Osuagwu Ugochukwu, has debunked claims that there is a connection between the announcement of the operation crocodile smile by the Nigerian army and the ongoing #EndSARS protest.
Ugochukwu said contrary to claims by several individuals and groups, the Nigerian army has never involved itself in the civil uproar.
Speaking on Monday, October 19, in Abuja, Ugochukwu said, the #EndSARS protest across the country demanding an end to police brutality has intensified despite the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and subsequent formation of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) by the inspector general of police.
