Samuel Eto'o has made a U-turn on his post match rants following Cameroon's lackluster display against Burundi.
The five times African champions pipped Burundi 1-0 in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Thursday.
However, the performance was far from the best as Eto'o went in hard at the Cameroon players in a video that has since gone viral.
In the video, Eto'o said: “I am not happy. I don’t care who you play against; you represent Cameroon. I am not happy at all. In my time, I missed the World Cup because I knew what problems I had. Those problems won’t repeat themselves while I’m president.”

"Bravo Lions for kicking off the AFCON 2023 qualifiers with a victory against Burundi - let’s keep up the momentum," wrote Eto'o on Twitter.
