Manchester City striker Erling Haaland proved he has been a fan of the Premier League champions since infancy.

The Premier League champions confirmed last month that they had reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign the prolific Norwegian forward.

In a photo posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the former Borussia Dortmund forward dropped his childhood pictures wearing a Manchester City jersey.

Man City are yet to officially unveil new recruit, Erling Haaland, despite the striker's move to the Etihad Stadium from Borussia Dortmund being agreed upon almost a month ago.

Why has Haaland not been officially unveiled yet by Manchester City?

On May 10, announced that they had reached an agreement with Dortmund to sign the 21-year-old, subject to him agreeing to personal terms. It is understood that he will join the club in a deal worth £51million.

However, City are yet to release any images or officially announce the striker's arrival at the Etihad Stadium — causing some supporters to get a little anxious.

The transfer window does not officially open until Friday, June 10 and City's statement confirming their agreement with Dortmund stated that the transfer would take place on July 1.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Erling Haaland has already landed in Manchester to complete his transfer to the recently-crowned Premier League champions Manchester City.

The £51m highly-rated striker is expected to undergo the final formalities before officially being unveiled as a Manchester City player.

His arrival in Manchester comes only two weeks after City excited fans with the announcement that the Norwegian would be joining them from Borussia Dortmund.
