Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly pushing to quit Stamford Bridge this summer for a move to the Serie A.
Kepa is said to be desperate to join Italian giants, Lazio, where he will reunite with former Blues boss, Maurizio Sarri.
Metro UK reports the Spaniard is understood to be keen to secure first-team football after falling down the pecking order with Chelsea.
The 27-year-old was limited to just four Premier League appearances during the just-concluded season, with Thomas Tuchel preferring Edouard Mendy over him.
Kepa Arrizabalaga contacts Maurizio Sarri over Lazio move
LazioNews24 now reports that Kepa has personally contacted Sarri over joining him at Lazio this summer.
The Blues are said to be more than willing to part ways with the shot-stopper and a loan move has already been mooted.
The former Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper joined the west Londoners in 2018 for £72million, a record transfer for a keeper.
At the time, he was projected to become the club's long-term No.1.
However, a string of poor performances and lack of discipline led to the signing of Mendy only two years after Kepa had been signed.
The Spanish star has since been relegated to second-choice keeper despite occasionally playing a part in the club’s Champions League, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup triumphs.
