Super Eagles legend Sunday Oliseh has labelled Liverpool striker Sadio Mane as the current best African player after netting a hat-trick for Senegal in AFCON 2023 qualifying match against Benin.

Senegal who are the reigning African champions have started their quest to participate in next year's tournament on a brighter note by defeating Benin 3-1, with Sadio Mane netting the 3 goals.

The Liverpool superstar opened the scoring for Senegal in the 12th minute when he converted from the penalty spot and he doubled Senegal’s lead in the 22nd minute.
