Gareth Bale has expressed his delight after Wales booked a World Cup spot for the first time since 1958.
Wales have not played on the global football stage for 64 years, with all their previous attempts hitting a dead end.
However, BBC reports the Dragons beat all the odds to secure qualification for the 2022 edition of the World Cup after sinking Ukraine 1-0 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday, June 5.

Speaking after Wales' World Cup qualification, Bale, who skippered the side to victory over Ukraine noted that this was "the greatest result in the history of Welsh football."
The former Real Madrid star used the opportunity to deliver the biggest hint on his Wales future as he joked that he is now going to delay his retirement for "a little bit."
"It's the greatest result in the history of Welsh football. We are all so ecstatic, and we're going to a World Cup," he said as quoted by the Daily Mail.
"It's what dreams are made of. It's what we've been working for since we first came together. I'm speechless because we're so happy - we did it for all our amazing fans and our country. Words can't describe how we're feeling at the moment," he added.
