Moroka Swallows' bid to remain in the DStv Premiership started off on the right foot this afternoon against Cape Town All Stars at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.

The result was disastrous for the visitors as it was their second in a row, having being sunk by the University of Pretoria 3-1 on Sunday afternoon in Cape Town. With their fate now out of their hands, All Stars now have to win their next two games against the two opponents and hope the other results go their way mathematically.

AmaTuks leads the mini-table by virtue of goal difference, with both they and Swallows tied on three points. AmaTuks' sits at +3, while the Dube Birds' is at +1.

The next encounter in the intriguing play-offs is on Saturday afternoon when the aforementioned teams collide in Tshwane.

Moroka Swallows on mission to remain in DStv Premiership with match against Cape Town All Stars

The PSL Play-Off Tournament is fully underway, with Moroka Swallows and Cape Town All Stars will battle it out in the second match this afternoon.

As reported by Sports Brief, the Dube Birds might have avoided relegation, but playing in this mini-tournament after finishing 15th in the DStv Premiership is the price they have to pay. Things began badly for All Stars, suffering a 3-1 defeat to University of Pretoria on Sunday afternoon in the Mother City.

This sees AmaTuks leading on the mini-log with three points, but more importantly, enjoy a goal difference of +2.
