But ahead of the clash against Otto Addo's side, Randriamamy is optimistic that his side can beat the Black Stars on home soil.

Despite the Black Stars being overwhelming favourites, the young PSG goalkeeper says that his side will get the victory if they play well.

“We are looking for a good match,” Randriamamy said as quoted by Ghana Guardian.
Ask if he is optimistic about victory against Ghana, he said, “Yes, we can. I believe if we play well, we can win”
“Our goal is to qualify from the group and nothing else. We are here and we are going to play good for our fans” he added.

Otto Addo Justifies Mubarak Wakaso's Inclusion

Meanwhile, Black Stars trainer Otto Addo has explained why veteran midfielder Mubarak Wakaso was named in the 33-man squad ahead of the upcoming 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the international friendlies.

The former Villarreal and Deportivo Alves midfielder has not played competitive football in over six months raising questions about his inclusion into Otto Addo's squad.

His inclusion divided opinions among Ghanaian football-loving fans with critics questioning his match fitness while a school of thought defending his inclusion contends his experience will be crucial for the Black Stars in the absence of Thomas Partey.

Otto Addo Breaks Silence on Alfred Duncan’s Premature Retirement

Sports Brief earlier reported that Otto Addo, head coach of the Black Stars, has finally opened up on Alfred Duncan's shock retirement from international football.

The 29-year-old midfielder announced his decision to quit the Black Stars on the back of what he described as 'unfair and discriminatory' treatment by the Ghana Football Association in a heartbreaking letter.

Duncan's unexpected retirement from the national team took the Ghanaian football landscape by surprise considering his immense talent and his relatively young age to make such a decision.
