Arsenal midfielder and Black Stars deputy captain Thomas Partey has been captured enjoying local Ghanaian delicacy at his base in London.
Partey has been left out of Ghana’s squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next week as a precaution after injuring his hamstring back in April.
He suffered the injury during Arsenal’s 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace and was unable to play again for the rest of the season.
A photo shared on Twitter by Ghanaian journalist Nana Aba Anamoah captured the Black Stars deputy captain enjoying some good local food.
Despite making £200,000-a-week at Arsenal, Partey lives a very modest lifestyle in London.
This particular attribute left many of his fans in awe when they saw the former Atletico Madrid eating Ghanaian food 'Ampesi and Kontomire stew'.
