Karim Benzema's first header away to Premier League giants Chelsea has been named Champions League Goal of the Season which is a massive achievement for the Frenchman.

Chelsea hosted Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal at Stamford Bridge and the Blues lost the encounter 3-1 in what was a painful result for the Blues' fans.

And in that Champions League battle, Karim Benzema scored wonderful header in which goalkeeper Mendy was unable to save.

According to the report on GOAL, the header has been rated as the best in this year's Champions League competition.

Karim Benzema and his teammates also went ahead to beat Premier League champions Liverpool in the semifinal before overcoming Liverpool in the final to win the title.
