Otto Addo, head coach of the Black Stars, has picked between the country's two most glamorous clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

Addo is currently preparing his team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.

Otto Addo was recently confirmed as the head of a four-man Black Stars technical team last week after leading the Black Stars to a World Cup return.

In a question and answer session with George Addo Junior, Otto revealed he is a fan of Hearts of Oak.

"This is hard," laughed Otto Addo before making his choice. "If I am to choose, it's Hearts of Oak," he said.

The Borussia Dortmund talent developer also revealed his preference for Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo and his love for music.

Otto Addo agrees to head Black Stars technical team

Former Black Stars midfielder Otto Addo has reached an agreement with the Ghana Football Association to lead the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Addo was initially appointed as head coach of the Black Stars on an interim basis following the sack of Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac.

He was appointed as the head of a four-man technical team that comprised Aston Villa U23 coach George Boateng, ex-Asante Kotoko coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani and Chris Hughton, formerly of Newcastle United.

Otto Addo names 33-man squad for AFCON qualifiers and international friendlies

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the newly confirmed Coach Otto Addo-led four-man Black Stars technical team have announced a 33-man squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and the international friendlies.

Ghana will square off against Madagascar on June 1 before playing the Central Africa Republic four days later. The Black Stars will also be involved in the Kirin Cup tournament in Japan next month as part of preparations for the World Cup.

The four-time African champions will be welcoming the services of experienced midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Jonathan Mensah after the trio missed out on the World Cup qualifiers in March.
