Brazilian legend Ronaldinho seems to be a fan of Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk as he showers praises on the defender ahead of Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final.
The Dutch defender has been a colossus in the Liverpool defence playing a pivotal role in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Ronaldinho who has arrived in the beautiful city of Paris where he also made good memories claims Van Dijk is currently the best defender in the world.
The former AC Milan and ex-Barcelona maestro said:
"I love him (van Dijk). In my opinion, he is the best defender in world football at this moment. I have lots of love and respect for him, and he is an amazing player."
The ex-Paris Saint-Germain star seems to be a huge admirer of Mohamed Salah stating that the Egyptian was "better than any player in his position" in world football. He told SPORTbible:
"Yeah, I think he must be among them. I’ve been following him for a few years. He is a player I truly love to watch play. He is one of the best players in the world."

Meanwhile, Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema has sent a fiery warning to Mohamed Salah and Liverpool fans ahead of the Champions League final.
Madrid are scheduled to battle Liverpool for the European football showpiece in Paris on Saturday, May 28.
The mouthwatering clash comes at a time Benzema is in fine shape having scored an incredible 16 goals in the competition so far this season.
