English Champions Manchester City activated his release clause to land one of the most sought-after strikers in world football. And Haaland has marked his departure from Dortmund by gifting every player and member of the technical staff Rolex watches as a farewell gift.
The Daily Mail reports that the watches were luxury engraved watches which he gave out during the club's last training session. Each watch is understood to cost roughly 12,400 euros. Haaland, therefore, used a total of 490,000 euros. He also gifted members of the backroom staff with Omega watches. The Norwegian is now headed to Manchester City where it is expected he will pen a five-year deal. He will become one of the club's top earners with a figure of 385,000 euros per week.

Haaland was clad in a Borussia Dortmund tracksuit as he mingled with fellow revellers at the entertainment joint. The striker started in Dortmund's last game against Hertha Berlin and grabbed a goal in the process to mark a perfect send-off.
He was widely applauded and appreciated by the Black Yellow faithful before and after the game.

The Norwegian forward scored in his last game for the Yellow and Blacks as they defeated the capital-based club in the final game of the season. In an emotional video posted on Twitter by the Manchester City-bound player, Haaland thanked the fans and wished them well.
