Former Nigerian international Jay Jay Okocha and Ronaldinho replicated their Paris Saint-Germain partnership at the recently Mega Pro Cup in Dubai.
The pair had dazzled at the French Ligue 1 during their time in Paris and they reunited for an exhibition game under the beautiful lights of Burj Khalifa over the weekend.
Pulse Sports reports that the former Super Eagles captain lined up for Ronaldinho’s XI and was instrumental in their victory over Luis Figo XI.
It’s been over two decades that Okocha and Ronaldinho played together as they formed a formidable partnership in France.
They have since remained pals as they have been seen a couple of times together sharing special moments off the pitch.
Ronaldinho joined PSG in 2001 from Brazilian side Gremio and met Okocha at the club as the Nigerian moved from Fenerbahce to the French club in 1998.
They were partners in the midfield for two years before the Brazilian left for Spanish club Barcelona in 2003, a year after Jay Jay had moved to Bolton Wanderers.

Meanwhile, a clip also showed the moment the duo had a lavish dinner with top football icons right there in Dubai before the game.
It was all about glitz and glamour at the star-studded table with cuisines from different continents served to treat the special guests to their optimum pleasure.
Holding his phone for ‘selfies’, Okocha could not help but capture the exciting moment while Ronaldinho on his own path also clicked away on his phone.

Ronaldinho eulogises Okocha, Valderrama
Sports Brief earlier reported that Brazil and FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho Gaucho has disclosed his secret admiration for ex-Super Eagles skipper Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Colombian icon Carlos Valderrama.
According to the two-time World Footballer of the Year, the only No. 10's he admired were Okocha and Valderrama.
In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Ronaldinho - who is mentioned in the same breath as Maradona and Pele as one of the greatest footballers to have graced the sport - eulogized the aforementioned duo.
