The club confirmed the signing of the 15-year-old on their official website in the presence of his parents as he follows the footsteps of his father, who also started his career at Feyenoord.
"Because I've been playing at the club since I was ten years old, this day is extra special for me. Feyenoord feels like a second home to me. The supporters, the stadium, everything here is just beautiful. My dream is ultimately to play in De Kuip and do well there," Shaqueel van Persie said after signing the deal.
The young van Persie joined Feyenoord at 10 from Manchester City's Academy and he was recently the captain of the U16 team.
"As a club, we are very satisfied with the development that Shaqueel is going through at Feyenoord," Head of Academy Rini Coolen said.
"He is insightfully strong, has an excellent winning mentality, scores goals easily and shows that he is a real leader during training and matches. Signing his first contract is therefore a great reward for him."
