Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's daughter, Karner, has reportedly quit Manchester United in the coming weeks just months after her dad was sacked as manager.

Solskjaer was shown the door at Old Trafford in December 2021 after a string of poor performances, paving way for the arrival of Ralf Rangnick who took charge on an interim basis.

However, months after his exit, Karna, who currently turns out for the Man United women's team has been linked with an exit.

The 19-year-old has been in fine shape for the Under 21 side, helping the team win the double after scoring 15 goals throughout the campaign.

Karna made her debut for the first team back in January during an FA Cup clash but never made another appearance in the WSL for Marc Skinner's team.

Karna Solskjaer set for Norway move

Daily Mail reports the youngster has resolved to take the next step and pursue her career elsewhere.

According to the publication, the striker has penned an amateur contract with Norway's third-tier side AaFK Fortuna.

The deal was reportedly confirmed on Tuesday, May 10, with Karna expected to formally join her new club in August.

The transfer was confirmed by journalist Jamie Spencer who tweeted:

"Update: Karna Solskjaer to AaFK Fortuna from Man Utd will be a permanent transfer. She will initially sign an amateur contract with them and then pen a first professional deal from 1 August."

Solskjaer watches daughter in action

Earlier, Sports Brief reported former Manchester United manager, Ole Gunner Solksjaer was present to cheer up his daughter to secure her second title with Manchester United.

Karna Solksjaer played a crucial role as Manchester United Women U21 beat Chelsea 6-2 on aggregate to secure the WSL Academy League title.

The Manchester youth side has dominated the youth game in England as they also lifted the WSL Academy Cup back in March.
