Afena-Gyan was an unused substitute as Jose Mourinho's men denied Leicester City a single shot on target in a confident first-half display.

How Roma defeated Leicester to reach Conference League final

Roma started the second leg match impressively against Leicester City and they had to wait until the 11th minute before scoring their goal through Tammy Abraham.

What they still lacked was accuracy, and Roma continued to look comfortable as they waited out the initial waves of attacks, letting Leicester have more possession and lurking for chances of their own.

Leicester City tried all they could to come back into this match, but Roma held on for an important win as manager Jose Mourinho will now be eyeing the title.

Mourinho, who had willed his players on strenuously throughout, will lead his players to the final against Feyenoord in Tirana on May 25.

The rise of Felix Afena-Gyan

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that just a little over a year, Felix Afena-Gyan had no idea he was going to be playing in Europe and as a matter of fact, Italy.

But 12 months down the lane, he is a star at AS Roma. While in Ghana, he was just a school going boy with a passion for football and enormous talent and like many kids in Berekum, life was fun.

In an old video, which looks like it was taken a year ago, Afena-Gyan is seen dancing and enjoying himself at Berekum Presec and that has got many talking.
