- Chelsea, on the other hand, are facing the prospect of dropping out of the top three, with rivals Arsenal and Tottenham hot on their heels
Chelsea will be desperate to return to winning ways when they take a trip to Elland Road to face relegation-threatened Leeds United on Wednesday night, May 11.
The Blues are already in danger of dropping out of the top three on the Premier League standings following a recent run of poor results.
Only a point separate them and fourth-placed Arsenal with just three matches left to end the season.
Chelsea looked on course to sealing a top three finish a couple of weeks back but hit a rough patch to allow rivals Arsenal and Tottenham to close the gap.
Match Preview
Chelsea will take the Elland Road trip in the wake of their 2-2 draw with Wolves over the weekend at Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel's charges surrendered a two-goal advantage during the clash to settle for a frustrating draw.
Incredibly, Leeds are equally in bad shape and are in danger of getting relegated after dropping to 18th on the standings.
Their last outing ended in a 2-1 defeat in the hands of Arsenal, with Diego Llorente scoring the consolation in the second half.
Team news
Chelsea have a number of injury concerns ahead of the clash, with the midfield duo of Jorginho and N'Golo Kante facing late fitness test.
However, Tuchel is unlikely to risk the pair, with their FA Cup final meeting with Liverpool already on the horizon.
As such, either Malang Sarr or Saul Niguez could be integrated in the starting XI for the midweek tie, with Andreas Christensen or Trevoh Chalobah likely to slot in for Thiago Silva.
