French diplomat Anne-Sophie Avé has fantasized about a World Cup final featuring the Black Stars of Ghana and the reigning World champions, France.
Anne-Sophie, French Ambassador to Ghana, has endeared herself to the people of Ghana with many regarding her as the best consulate to Ghana bar former United Kingdom Ambassador to Ghana Jon Benjamin.
She made her fantasy prediction at Asamoah Gyan's autobiography launch at the plush Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
"My dream will be both France and Ghana we get all the way to the final and that final will be amazing. I would support both sides so I would be excited whatsoever." She told Citi TV.
"I can only wish that Ghana and France go all the way to the finals. And of course, I'm definitely very chauvinist and I will love France to win. But you see we have won twice."
Despite being French, Anne-Sophie Avé prefers Ghana to clinch the World Cup should her dream predictions materialize.
"Now Ghana has captured my heart and so I would be so glad if Ghana won at that time."
"We've won twice so I think it's the turn of Ghana and Ghana has amazing players so I would be very happy [if Ghana wins the World Cup]." She ended.
Ghana has been handed a tricky World Cup group which features two-time World champions Uruguay, 2016 European champions Portugal and Asian powerhouse Korea Republic.
