Rio Ferdinand has explained that he is no longer interested in taking up a director role at Premier League club Manchester United where he made his name as a player.
There have been talks on Rio Ferdinand making a return to Manchester United this time around to be a director, but the man who now works as a pundit has turned down the offer.
Manchester United have had troubled season and have been knocked out of all competitions and have no hope of qualifying for the Champions League again.
The club's chiefs are ready to make many changes in the summer as they have already appointed Ten Hag as new coach who will take over from embattled Ralf Rangnick.
According to the report on Complete Sports, Rio Ferdinand explained that he is no longer interested in director role at Man United.
