Iconic Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan finally launched his autobiography titled 'LeGyandary' on Saturday, April 30.
The much-anticipated event held at the plush Kempinski Hotel attracted the crème de la crème of personalities across all spheres of life.
On Asamoah Gyan's special night, the first copy of his LeGyandary book was bought for GHS100,000 ($13, 158) by business tycoon Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong.
Key among the star-studded ceremony was Ghana's president His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuo-Addo, the special guest of honour, who officially launched the book.
Ghana's sitting president was not the only high-profile dignitary at the event with other top-notch former footballers such as El Hadji Diouf, Khalilou Fadiga, Emmanuel Adebayor and Stephen Appiah all graced the occasion.

FootballThe business mogul's feat of purchasing Gyan's autobiography at $13,158 on the night was equalled by popular lawmaker Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, who bought the second copy and Freedom Jacob Caesar went for the third copy at GHS 50,000.
It was indeed a legendary night for Ghana's iconic striker Asamoah Gyan as he launched his book at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
The book which is titled ‘LeGyandary’ chronicles the former Sunderland forward's early days and his rise to fame.
In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the former Sunderland striker was all smiles as he unveil his new book on Saturday night.
