Daniel-Kofi Kyereh was on target for St Pauli as they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Nuremberg on Friday.

The 25-year-old midfielder hit the back of the net 30 minutes after recess with after converting from the spot.

But Nuremberg equalised late in the game with a beautiful strike from Taylan Duman to make it 1-1.

Both St. Pauli and Nuremberg are battling for promotion were unable to score again, and the game finished in a 1-1 draw with the teams splitting the points.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has hit double figures for goals and leads the assist chart for St Pauli.

He has registered 12 goals and provided nine assists in 26 games this season in Bundesliga 2.

Kyereh's return to full fitness is a boost for St Pauli who are chasing Bundesliga promotion next season.

The in-form attacking midfielder suffered a thigh injury during their top-of the table encounter against Werder Bremen on two weeks ago, per reports.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Daniel-Kofi Kyereh appears to have picked up where he left off with a ridiculous strike in FC Saint Pauli training.

The 25-year-old is undeniably one of Ghana's most in-form players in Europe, scoring ten goals and creating eleven assists for his German club in the 2021/22 season.

The attacking midfielder was then called up to Ghana's World Cup play-offs squad, and made a brilliant cameo appearance in the second leg against Nigeria in Abuja despite missing the first fixture due to injury.
