Watford could be forced to cash on Super Eagles star, Emmanuel Dennis if the Hornets are relegated from the English Premier League.

Watford has amassed a total of 22 points from 32 games played and are 7 points behind Everton who occupies the 17th spot in the league.

According to Complete Sports, Dennis is one of the club's most marketable assets, and his sale will assist offset the income loss that relegation will bring.

Dennis has been Watford’s best player this season after an impressive campaign that has seen him score a total of 10 Premier League goals.

The Super Eagles striker has spent just one season with the Hornets after signing from the Belgian side, Club Brugge last summer.

Troost-Ekong, Kalu return for Watford

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles duo of Williams Troost-Ekong and Samuel Kalu have been declared fit for Watford’s Premier League game against Manchester City Punch reports.

After recovering from a minor hamstring strain that kept him out of last Saturday's home match against Brentford, Ekong is back in full training with the team.

After returning from an ankle injury that kept him out against Brentford, Kalu, who joined in January from French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux, will be hoping to be part of the squad.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Watford will be without two of their African stars William Troost-Ekong and Samuel Kalu when they tackle Brentford on Saturday, April 16.

The Hornets will host the Bees at Vicarage Road as they continue their bid to escape getting relegated from the Premier League.

Watford manager, Roy Hodgson confirmed in his pre-match press conference that both Super Eagles players will not feature against Brentford due to injury.
