Kenya's Harambee Stars have learned their opponents for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Harambee Stars are among 32 teams who will be looking to qualify for the biennial continental showpiece set to be staged in Cote d’Ivoire.
In the draw conducted on Tuesday, April 19, in South Africa by the Confederation of African Football, Kenya was pooled in Group C of the qualifiers.
The East African nation is billed to come up against World Cup-bound Cameroon, Namibia, and Burundi.
Senegal, Egypt land tough groups
Meanwhile, the competition's 2021 finalists Senegal and Egypt both landed tricky groups, with the Pharaohs landing Guinea, Malawi, and Ethiopia in Group D.
On their part, Senegal will come up against Rwanda, Mozambique, and Benin Republic in Group L.
Nigeria's Super Eagles are in Group A of the qualifiers alongside Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, and Sao Tome & Principe.
Elsewhere, Cote d’Ivoire, who are set to host the tournament will tackle Zambia, Comoros and Lesotho even though they have already secured their place in the tournament.
As such, only one other team from their group will earn a ticket for the finals.
