Brazilian star Hulk and his second wife Camila Angelo have welcomed their first child together and named her Zaya after she was born in a Miami hospital, Daily Star reports.

Daily Star reports that Hulk is delighted following the arrival of his baby girl who was delivered by the niece of his former wife.

The Atletico Mineiro star was allowed to miss Sunday’s game against Coritiba so he could be available to witness the birth of his child.

In a loving message after the baby was delivered, Hulk referred to Zaya as his “princess” and promised to “love and protect” her forever.

He captioned a picture of himself carrying the newborn baby:
