Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has showered praises on his Manchester United teammates following their 3-3 win over Norwich City in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The 37-year-old striker found the back of the net three times in the encounter to claim all three points for the hosts at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 7th minute following an Elanga assist, before heading home his second in the 32nd minute.
Dowell pulled one back for the visitors in first-half stoppage-time and then Pukki drew his side level in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.
With the encounter heading for a draw, Ronaldo put his side ahead again with a sensational freekick in the 76th minute to grab all three points for his side as it ended 3-2.
It was his 60th career hat-trick, but the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has credited his teammate for the feat.
Ronaldo wrote on Instagram:
“Very happy with this win and for getting us back on track in the Premier League.
“Like I said before, individual achievements are only worth it when they help us reach our goals as a team, and the 60th hat-trick in my career is so much more important because it brought us the 3 points.
“Well done, lads, tremendous effort from everyone. We’re not giving up, we’re fighting until the end!”
