Julian Nagelsmann who is the gaffer of German giants Bayern Munich has revealed that he has gotten around 450 death threats from fans following his side's elimination in Champions League.

Bayern Munich were tipped to do well this season in the Champions League following their incredible performance in the Group stage and the knockout.

But Julian Nagelsmann and his wards were sent of of the competition in the quarterfinal losing against Spanish giants Villarreal.

How did the two legs end between these two teams?

Villarreal defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 in the first leg played in Spain and forced their opponents to 1-1 draw in the return leg with Samuel Chukwueze scoring.

According to the report on GOAL, Julian Nagelsmann stated that many fans are after his life with messages on social media.

"I can handle criticism well. The situation is different with the 450 death threats on Instagram.
“I actually get that after every game, whether we win or lose. I don't actually read them. I always delete a lot. Usually I only see the first line there.''

Chukwueze makes powerful statement after scoring against Bayern Munich

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Samuel Chukwueze expressed happiness after helping Villarreal to reaching the semifinal of the Champions League sending German champions Bayern Munich out of the competition.

Villarreal won the first leg of their quarterfinal battle against Bayern Munich before traveling to Germany for the return leg on Wednesday night, 13 April.

Super striker Robert Lewandowski opened scoring for Bayern Munich and German fans were of the thoughts that their players would score more goals.

Unai Emery decided to bring on Samuel Chukwueze in the 84th minute and the Nigerian scored the goal that gave his side a 1-1 draw anf qualified 2-1 on aggregate.

Samuel Chukwueze explained that he followed the instruction given to him by Unai Emery.
