Man United Star Welcomes First Child with Daughter of Arsenal Legend

Man United midfielder Donny van de Beek has welcomed his first child with his partner Estelle Bergkamp.

Van de Beek, who is currently on loan with Everton announced back in November 2021 that he and Estelle were expecting a baby together.

"Happy to announce that we’re expecting a little one," he posted on Instagram.

Donny van de Beek confirms birth of his first child

And nearly four months later, the Dutchman has announced the birth of his first child with Estelle.

The Netherlands international took to Instagram on Saturday, April 9, to make public the exciting news, prompting congratulatory messages from fans and footballers.

"Welcome to the world Lomée van de Beek - 09/04/2022," the 24-year-old wrote.
"Proud of you @estellebergkam," he added.

Van de Beek's father-in-law and Arsenal legend, Dennis Bergkamp was among hundreds of fans to congratulate the couple after the announcement.

Donny van de Beek misses Everton's clash vs Man United

Van Beek's child arrived on Saturday - the same day Everton were playing Man United at Goodison Park in a vital Premier League clash.

The former Ajax ace stood no chance of featuring in the encounter as EPL rules bar players from playing against their parent clubs while on loan.

The tie ended in a 1-0 defeat for United, with Anthony Gordon scoring the solitary goal that made all the difference.

Maguire appeals teammate's handball

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Harry Maguire was the talking point after Man United's defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday, April.

The United skipper was involved in a bizarre incident where he called the referee on his own teammate.

Maguire raised his arm in protestation after Nemanja Matic handled the ball in the first half of the encounter.

The defender's reaction left a number of fans in shock who took to social media to make fun of the Man United ace.
