Former Nigeria international, Victor Anichebe has called on English Premier League club, Everton to get rid of manager, Frank Lampard.
Anichebe made this comment following Everton's 3-2 loss to fellow relegation strugglers, Burnley on Wednesday, April 6 at Turf Moor.
Lampard was appointed as Everton manager on a two-and-half-year deal in late January following the sacking of Rafael Benitez after a poor start to the season.
According to a report via Complete Sports, Anichebe who started his career at Everton believes the Toffees will 100 percent go down if a managerial change isn’t made.
"The players aren’t good enough but neither is Frank. As much as I love him as a player and he looks a top guy.
"Everton will 100% go down if a change isn’t made."
Lampard has managed just one win in the Premier League since his appointment as Everton manager with the Merseyside just one point above the relegation zone.
