But one notable absentee during the celebration of the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner is France international, Kylian Mbappe.
The Frenchman made his way back to PSG barely three days after the World Cup final heartbreak he suffered against Argentina.
Is Mbappe's absence a coincidence?
However, Marca reports that the 24-year-old decided to take a few days of vacation around the time of Messi's return to the club.
Mbappe, alongside World Cup semi-finalist Achraf Hakimi, were given a few days from their club duties following PSG's 3-1 loss to Lens on Sunday.
The duo were sighted together watching an NBA game between the Brooklyn Nets and the San Antonio Spurs in New York.
A rift between Mbappe, Messi?
Marca further claims that the absence of the Frenchman will likely put more distance between himself and the veteran Argentine.
All that remains to be seen is when Messi will return to wearing the PSG shirt in an official match.
