Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas has reportedly welcomed 30 refugees from the war-stricken Ukraine into his home.

Reports from The Sun claim Navas, alongside his wife Andrea, took in at least 30 refugees into their luxury home.

The PSG shot-stopper reportedly turned his swanky home theatre into a resort for the refugees, and bought 30 beds to accommodate them in his Paris home.

Andrea has been preparing food for the refugees, and the couple has gone to the lengths of providing clothes and other essentials for the refugees.

Spanish newspaper SPORT further reports that "The association of gypsies from the Gracia neighbourhood of Barcelona went to Krakow to bring food and Ukrainian refugees.

"On his return Keylor Navas found out about it and welcomed 30 of them into his home."

The kind gesture from Keylor Navas and his wife is not very surprising, as Andrea has been on the forefront of calling for people to help Ukrainians amid the Russian invasion.

"We can help these children, some with their mother, others not, young people alone, with just their clothes, which was the only thing they could take, we can contribute whatever non-perishable food, clothes, personal hygiene items, etc. Andrea said on Instagram.
"I share the information! So that they can feel love in the midst of so much pain."

Navas is currently back in his native Costa Rica on international duty, and he hopes to help his side qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

N’golo Kante interacts with locals in Mali

Another top football star who earned plaudits online for his humility recently was N’golo Kante.

Kante was a topic of conversation, particularly on Twitter, after he was spotted alongside villagers in his native Mali.

The Frenchman asked to be left out of international duty temporarily for “personal reasons” and flew back to Mali, where his photos alongside locals have gone viral.
