Harry Kane has left the door open for a possible Tottenham Hotspur exit at the end of the season.
Kane, who recently became the highest Premier League goalscorer in away matches, has been Tottenham’s best shot at success this season once again.
He was on the verge of exiting the North London club last summer, with Manchester City nearly completing the sensational signing.
But the deal eventually broke down, and Kane remained at Tottenham, where he has been in typical prolific goal-scoring form.
The 28-year old is currently away on duty with England for the upcoming friendlies, and he was recently asked what the future holds for him as far as his next club was concerned.
As reported by the Mirror, Kane did not necessarily rule out a move away from Tottenham, but said he was currently focused on ending the season on a high.
My main focus is finishing this season, I can’t control what’s going to happen in the future," Kane said. "I want to be going into that tournament in the best form possible."
Kane to Manchester?
His remarks comes at the back of more links to Manchester in the summer, only this time, he is being connected to Manchester United.
The rumours of Kane’s move to Old Trafford have been particularly rife because of Mauricio Pochettino’s links to the Red Devils.
Kane and Pochettino spent five years together at Tottenham, before the Argentine was dismissed late in 2019.
