Nigeria's Sports Minister Sunday Dare has made a zealous statement ahead of his country's crucial two-legged tie against Ghana.

The Super Eagles and their old foes, Black Stars will reignite hostilities for the umpteenth time when they battle for one of Africa's five tickets at the upcoming World Cup.

Nigeria, six-time participants of the Mundial, have paraded a star-studded squad featuring Napoli marksman Victor Osimhen, former Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho and 'new boy' Ademola Lookman which will put the fear of God in any opposition.

On the other side of the coin, Ghana is coming off the back of a disastrous AFCON campaign and have assembled a young and exuberant roster for the all-important assignment as the Black Stars seek their fourth appearance at the global showpiece.

Comparing the two West African giants on paper, Nigeria are the overwhelming favourites for the doubleheader and it comes as little surprise the Nigerian Sports Minister is optimistic of an emphatic win for his country.

“We [Nigeria] are not going to Ghana to draw. We are going to beat the sh*t out of them,” he said on Wednesday." Sunday Dare said as quoted by Joy News.
“Super Eagles should just go all out. There is insurance for their legs now,” he opined.
