- The North African giants will travel to Mali for the first-leg before hosting the Eagles in the second-leg with the winner qualifying for the World Cup
- Tunisia have appeared in the finals of the FIFA World Cup on five occasions, the first being at the 1978 FIFA World Cup
Tunisia coach Jalel Kadri has named a a 28-man squad to face Mali in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The Eagles of Carthage named a squad similar to the Nations Cup squad to represent the country in the final round of qualifiers.
Veteran striker Wahbi Khazri will lead his team as they prepare to make their sixth appearance at the Mundial, the first being at the 1978 FIFA World Cup.
Tunisia topped Group B with 13 points in six matches before they progressed to the last stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers before facing Mali.
The Eagles of Mali, on the hand hand, also led their group, qualifying for the playoffs with 16 points after five wins and one draw.

In the final round, the two teams will be confronting each other for one of Africa’s five spots in the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
Ahead of the crucial games, Tunisia national team manager Jalel Kadri announced his 28-squad competing for the valuable spot.
The squad included Al Ahly left-back Ali Maaloul, and Zamalek duo Seifeddine Jaziri and Hamza Mathlouthi.
