Cristiano Ronaldo is causing a major headache for the Atletico Madrid players after the Portugal attacker seems to have rediscovered his best form.

Ronaldo ended his goal drought by scoring a hat-trick against Tottenham on Sunday, March 13 in the Premier League.

Manchester United host the La Liga champions at Old Trafford on Tuesday, March 13 after both teams had played a 1-1 draw three weeks ago.

According to Manchester Evening News, Atletico Madrid defender, Marcos Llorente has cautioned his teammates not to solely focus on Cristiano Ronaldo during the Champions League game.

“When you have players like that you always need to be on your guard, they have some other great players that play at a really high level and we have to be aware of all of them,"

The 37-year-old has a great record against Atletico Madrid and has scored 25 goals against them for city rivals Real Madrid and during his three-year spell at Juventus.

Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw doubts for Manchester United

Meanwhile, Manchester United might be without some key players when Atletico Madrid comes visiting Old Trafford for the UEFA Champions League reverse fixture.

According to Marca, Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw might not be involved in the game for the Red Devils due to Covid-19.

Manchester United will hope to seal a quarter-final UCL spot but will need to be on their best against an Atletico side missing Yannick Carrasco, Thomas Lemar, and Mario Hermoso.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United are considering demolishing Old Trafford and building a new stadium on the same site which would be one of the bests in the world.

The Premier League campaigners have been using Old Trafford since 1910 and the ground has produced many world-class players who have excelled in football.
