Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has expressed concerns after club fans booed Lionel Messi and Neymar during their 3-0 win over Bordeaux on Sunday.

The Parisians defeated their visitors to go 15 points clear on the Ligue 1 standings, but former Barcelona stars Messi and Neymar were subjected to abuse before the start of the encounter.

Both forwards were jeered by their own supporters due to their loss to Real Madrid as they crashed out of the Champions League.

But Pochettino says it’s unfair to boo the two world-class players in the club. The manager told Canal+ as per Tribal Football:

"No, for me it's unfair. We all deserve this anger from the fans, not just Neymar and Messi, they are two world-class players.
"They must therefore be respected. When we lose or win, it's always as a team.
"We feel the same and we are all together in this immense frustration of not going further in the Champions League.
"The whistles? It was for everyone. We are a team, we are all together. It's a really sad situation. The focus is to win the title. The situation is difficult, we are not going to change the past.
"I have to try to concentrate and win the title but also the next matches."

Thomas Tuchel finding it hard to sleep

Meanwhile, Pochettino said on Saturday that he is finding it "hard to sleep at night" after his side's dramatic Champions League capitulation against Real Madrid, but that he wants his team to take out their "rage" on their Ligue 1 opponents.

The French giants led by two goals on aggregate in their last-16 tie with Real in midweek with less than half an hour to play.

But Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick as PSG imploded at a raucous Santiago Bernabeu, adding another embarrassing loss to their collapses at the hands of Barcelona in 2017 and Manchester United in 2019.

Tuchel speaks after being linked with Man Utd job

Sports Brief earlier reported that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has declared his intent to stay at Stamford Bridge amid fears he could depart following the recent crisis that has rocked the club.

Tuchel is understood to be staring at an uncertain future with the Blues after the UK government sanctioned Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

The drastic decision plunged the west London club into a precarious situation as they cannot engage in transfer business.
